REPLAST® is a reactive, two-component binder for precast seams in asphalt road construction.

REPLAST® can be applied a few hours to several days before the installation of hot asphalt. The installation thickness can be individually adjusted.

Application Areas:

  • Especially for seam connections that occur when asphalt mix is laid in strips or during longer work interruptions.
  • Milling and cutting edges
  • Connections hot to cold

Requirements:

The surface must be free of contaminants and loose particles. It may be damp but not wet.

The substrate temperature must be at least +5°C.

Application:

  1. The milled or freshly created asphalt edge must be cleaned before the application of REPLAST®.
  2. The REPLASTER applies a reactive binder that cures within 5 – 15 minutes, depending on weather conditions.
  3. Once installed, REPLAST® can be easily rolled over without any issues.

Consumption:

0.1 kg per linear meter per 1 cm edge height

Daily Performance:

Up to 4,000 linear meters per day, depending on asphalt layer thickness
